In May, Denver-based Bluegrass band Meadow Mountain releases their third full-length record, titled “June Nights”. With a firm foundation of traditional Bluegrass and an eight-year tenure as a band, Meadow Mountain recorded “June Nights” in July 2023 with the goal of bridging the gap between modern bluegrass and more popular genres like Rock and Pop. This vision for a wider view of Bluegrass has taken Meadow Mountain all over the Colorado and the country, with performances as an official showcase artist at IBMA, a main stage slot at RockyGrass, numerous headlining performances at The Bluebird Theater in Denver, and most recently a performance at Red Rocks, where they opened for Leftover Salmon.

A few words from the producer of our first record, Chris Pandolfi:

Traditional Stringband music is evolving like never before. Meadow Mountain is certainly part of that innovative trend, combining a wide range of influences with an astounding work ethic to produce really quality music that belies their age. But what sets this band apart is their distinct connection to all the best parts of traditional bluegrass, a connection that is increasingly rare among modern bands in this age of evolution. It's apparent in their astounding musicianship, their vocal harmonies, their songwriting, their attention to detail and the soulful tones that make bluegrass so unique. It doesn't define them, but it does set them apart. Meadow Mountain is crafting strong original music that represents bluegrass in the best possible way, and I couldn't be more proud of what we accomplished with this debut album. Big things are ahead for this excellent young band!
